About NAPU

A Non-Profit Welfare Trust registered in 2020 through the High Court Of Namibia consisting of seven (7) trustees including; an attorney, an accountant and five (5) active members - 3 of which are NAMPOL Reservists.

During September 2018, after a member of NAPU assisted in arresting poachers in the Namib Desert, a huge poaching syndicate was discovered.  Information and evidence obtained led to ±188 slaughtered Oryx over a period of only two months in the Namib Naukluft Park.  Various other poaching sites in the surrounding areas were also discovered where Zebra, Springbok and Ostrich were slaughtered.

This was the final push needed for individuals that share the same conservation beliefs and sentiments to come together and establish this organisation. An organisation that consists out of trained members in various fields, who are passionate about making a sustainable difference.
